Review:
The first trailer for Rambo 6: New Blood is here—and it hits like a freight train of fury, fire, and legacy. Sylvester Stallone reprises his iconic role as John Rambo in what looks to be his final mission, passing the torch to a new generation while confronting the ghosts of every war he’s ever fought.

Set several years after the events of Last Blood, Rambo is living off the grid—broken, weathered, and all but forgotten. But when the son of one of his fallen brothers in arms—ex-Marine Lucas Grant (Jon Bernthal)—is captured by a black ops death squad in the jungles of Southeast Asia, Rambo must face the battlefield one last time. He doesn’t go to start a war… but you can bet he’ll finish it.

The trailer blends raw emotion with brutal action: dense jungles, night ambushes, and hand-to-hand combat that reminds fans why Rambo is still the standard for gritty warfare. Stallone, now in his 70s, brings a powerful mix of age, rage, and sorrow—he’s not just fighting enemies; he’s fighting time.

Jon Bernthal is a perfect fit for the franchise, bringing fire, depth, and vulnerability to the role of the soldier trying to live up to a legend. Their chemistry—mentor and student, warrior and heir—is instantly compelling. Elodie Yung joins the cast as a rogue CIA agent with secrets that could change everything.

Director Antoine Fuqua (Training Day, The Equalizer) elevates the tone with a grounded, intense style. The trailer features slow-motion explosions, blood-soaked riverbanks, and Rambo’s iconic bow returning in spectacular fashion.

It ends with a haunting voiceover:
“You can bury a soldier. But you can’t bury the war inside him.”
